4 Fall Looks with Dixie Outlet Mall (4th Look)

Ok guys, here is my final look from Dixie Outlet Mall. How cute is this long jumpsuit from Dynamite?! It's jet black in colour, and perfect for Fall! I got it for an awesome price too. I paid only $20 and it was regular $54.95!! What a steal!

I love all the gold accents on this piece. I also love the zip-up front, elasticated drawstring waist, and front pockets! I am wearing a size XS and it fits me perfectly. I think high heels are the only way to go with this outfit.  I am wearing the olive suede closed toe heels again, that I picked up at Sirens for only $11.99 ( Reg. $19.98). I think the purse that I picked up at Winners couldn't be more perfect with this look, it looks amazing. I still can't believe it was regular $75 and I got it for only $39.99!

If you want to score some amazing deals for yourself, or for someone on your Christmas list, you should really check them out. I have always walked out of there saving money.

JORD Wood Watch + Giveaway!

About 8 years ago my husband broke his favourite watch. He loved his watch so much, he wore it everyday.  Over the years, I bought him a few watches for either his birthday or Christmas, and I always ended up returning them because he never liked them. I have even dragged him to the mall to pick one out for himself, and we would always come home empty handed. He hated everything. He is just so picky. He wanted something that looked different, and not just the same kind of looking watch everyone else wears.

When I heard about Jord Wood Watches, I thought for sure this is something my husband would love. All of their watches are hand-crafted, and all-natural wood which is so unique and exactly what I think my husband has been looking for. So, I thought I would surprise him and get him this gorgeous Zebrawood & Navy men's watch from Jord

As soon as it arrived, he opened the box and took one look at the watch and said FINALLY! He just LOVED it! He couldn't believe it was made out of wood and had never seen anything like it before. As soon as he put it on, he loved how light weight it felt on his wrist. It didn't feel heavy, too big or bulky. It was just perfect! He has been getting compliments on it every time he wears it. I think it's safe to say that this is his new favourite watch! :-)

4 Fall Looks with Dixie Outlet Mall (3rd Look)

Sharing my 3rd look today that I purchased at Dixie Outlet Mall. I love this outfit so much! It's so comfy and very causal. Perfect for everyday running around doing errands.

This is my first cotton plaid shirt, all the others I own are flannel. I got it from Urban Planet for $15 (Reg. 22.99) It's so lightweight and love the fact it has the buttons on the arms, so I have the option to roll my sleeves up. To go with my plaid shirt, I found these distressed black skinny jeans also at Urban Planet. They were regular $39.99, but I ended up getting $5 off if I signed up for their emails.

To complete the look, I found these beautiful taupe ankle boots from Call It Spring. I can walk around in these boots all day, they are just so comfortable! The small chunky heel makes a world of a different on my feel compared to a stiletto heel.  They were $79.99, but there was a promo for $20 off so I got them for $59.99.

If you missed look 1 and 2, check them out here and here!

Hope everyone has a great week!

4 Fall Looks with Dixie Outlet Mall (2nd Look)

Here is my next look I purchased from my Dixie Outlet Mall collaboration. (If you missed my first look, click here)

I love these Jogger pants I picked up at Dynamite. So happy they came in this olive green colour, because I don't have anything that colour in my Fall wardrobe as of yet. They were regular $49.95, but I got them for only $30! The black short sleeve top I found at Ardene for a steal! The whole store was 70% off, so I got it for only $4.35 (Reg. $14.50)I'm still kicking myself I didn't buy more.

These pants would look great with any flats, but I wanted to go for a more dressy look. So, I found these suede closed toe heels from Sirens for only $11.99 (Reg. $19.98). My purse is the same one from the last post. I picked it up at Winners for only $39.99 (Reg. $75.00). On cooler nights a leather jacket would go perfect with this outfit!

Stay tuned for look 3 coming to the blog next week!

Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving weekend!

Afternoon Tea at The Plaza Hotel

If you follow me on Instagram, you would remember I was in NYC back in August celebrating my 8th wedding Anniversary. During our stay, we were lucky enough to experience the famous afternoon tea at The Plaza hotel in the Palm Court.

The Palm Court is so beautiful and elegant. As soon as you walk into the hotel, the restaurant is straight ahead.  I can't believe it's been around for over 100 years. The gorgeous stained-glass dome has everyone looking up while dining. It's so pretty!

Afternoon Tea is served daily from 12-5pm, and I strongly suggest to book a reservation because they book up all the time. We booked our reservation for 1pm. We had the choice of choosing from 2 options. "The New Yorker Tea" or "The Champagne Tea" Who could turn down champagne? so we went with the Champagne Afternoon Tea.

Once we were seated, we were given a menu of a wide selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. I got "The Des Amants" tea which is an apple, cinnamon and vanilla flavour. My husband got the "Rooibos Des Vahines" which is a Vanilla Almond flavour.
While we waited for our tea, they brought us 2 glasses of Champagne in these gorgeous glasses which had The Plaza's logo engraved on it. We got to chose from 2 types of Champagne as well, the Veuve Clicquot Brut or the Moet & Chandon Brut Rose Imperial, we went with the Veuve Clicquot Brut.

Our sandwiches and desserts were served on this beautiful 3 tier tray.

For our sandwiches and savories we had:

-Thyme Roasted Prime Rib Sandwich, Horseradish Aioli and Arugula on an Onion Roll

-Peekytoe Crab Salad, Green Apple, Cucumber, Black Truffle Oil, Grain Mustard Aioli on a Pretzel Crostini

-Foie Gras Torchon, Sweet & Sour Shallots, Cracked Hazelnuts, Fig Jam on a Toasted Brioche

-Hudson Valley Smoked Salmon, Smoked Salmon Mousse, Pickled Mustard Seeds, Pressed Cucumber

My favourite was the Lobster Roll, Daikon Sprouts on a Buttered Brioche Roll! Yum! They also have a Confit New Potato with Chive Crème Fraiche and American Sturgeon Caviar! It was my first time having Caviar and I have to say it was pretty good!

We also had freshly baked scones with Double Devonshire Cream and Lemon Curd and Preserves. They were so good!

For dessert we had a selection of pastries and sweets such as:

-Almond and Apple Frangipane Savarin
-Coffee and Brandy Chouquette
-Pistachio Green Tea Financier
-Chocolate  Passion Fruit Macaron
-Chocolate Hazelnut Plaisier
-Black  & White  Éclair
-Fresh Fruit Tart

Everything was so good. We were stuffed after all that food. The experience we had eating at the Plaza was amazing! I so recommend going if you were visiting NYC. The service was excellent too. I kind of felt like we were treated like royalty, lol! Everything from the table setting, the service, and the food, it was so luxury.

Once we finished eating, we got to tour some of the rooms in the plaza. The rooms are GORGEOUS!

The first room we saw was "The Tower Room" The room and bed was in a round room with a 23 foot brick turret  ceiling. It also overlooked Fifth Avenue as well.

The next suite we saw was " The Ellington Park Suite" It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The suite connected to another bedroom which would be perfect for a family. The parents would have the suite and the kids would be in the second bedroom. The suite had a very elegant living room, and the bedrooms were full of mosaic tile and gold accent pieces.
